![]() ![]() I want to know commercial products for home hifi. Unfortunately you haven't missunderstand my question. Who can give me some advices - thank you very much. I want only analog crossover networks (Sallen-Key or MFB topology) and no DSP based verions, because additional ADC/DAC in highest quality are necessary. The good known Behringer devices are not really good. Therefore I want to know a commercial crossover network, where is in use highest quality parts/Op-AMPs and the possibility of adjusting the slope character (CH-BU-BE, 18-24db/oct) and the cut-off frequency (aprox. The main disadvantage is the fact, that is to do a new design for this passive high pass part in case of new speakers, in case of a new listening room or a new location for the main speakers. ![]() Only a resistor, an inductor and a capacitor is necessary between power amp output and speakers in most cases. The main advantage here is no additional OP-AMP line stages between the pre-amp and the power amp and thus no additional THD sources for the sensitive midrange-high frequency aera. For upgrade a presently top class set-up with a subwoofer I still prefer a passive solution for the high pass. ![]()
